Album Covers now optional on music uploads

Ever since the last major upgrade until now, it was required that you upload an album image when uploading music. Well now it is optional to upload an image. If you decide not to, you can always go back and add an image by editing your song.

TLA Referral Links

Members now have referral links on The Latino Ave. If a member wishes to refer someone, they now will get 1 member referral point for every 1 member they refer. Referral points show on member pages & ”My Account”.

Custom Pages Upgraded

Made a major update to the F.A.Q. and Help page. Actually, they’re both on one page now and you can navigate to it by clicking on “Help” up top. So if you ever need help with the site, go there.

I also added a “Donate” page at the bottom. This is where you can donate to maintain the site and see who has already donated. In addition, I made a few minor changes around the site, for instance, changing some of the alert icons like new mail and comments (I’ll probably change the rest in the near future.)

Lastly, I added two promotional banners to the “Promote Us” page at the bottom, and scrapped the shitty ones :P.

Major Latino Ave Update (Skin & Features)

The Latino Ave finally back online

It’s been a painstaking 2-3 weeks that the site has been offline. At first it was funding issues, then along the way it was script and database issues. Once one issue was fixed, there were 2 more in the way. Nothing but problems in the journey to get it back up.

Slowly but surely I accomplished all of the problems and jumped over ever big stone in the way. Now The Latino Ave is back up and running flawlessly on a new host. Many thanks to those who’ve donated for the new server while we were down.

Forum usergroup/post ranks image update and older skin fixes

This entry is dedicated to 3 topics; new usergroup images, more post ranks added & older skin fixes.

A couple days ago, I made a few usergroup images that reflected on what usergroup a selected member is in. NOTE that the images will only show for the LOYAL group and up. To read more about it, visit the following link: http://www.offthaave.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20327

Lastly, I’ve made time to finally go back and edit all of the old skins and fix the look of them. This includes fixing the broken ads, taking off features that weren’t needed anymore and sychronizing everything on every skin to look like our newest skin “Anniversary Skin”.
